Fine Arts

A well rounded educational experience includes exposure to and training in the fine arts. Union Christian Academy offers concert band, choir and art curriculum designed to create a knowledge and appreciation of artistic expression among our students right from the start. Art and music are incorporated into the classroom beginning in Kindergarten. In 5th grade, students begin specific fine arts classes designed to prepare them for more in depth study as they progress.

submitted to the 2010 Western Arkansas Ballet Nutcracker Contest.

Winning artwork was on display in December 2010 at the Fort Smith Art Center and in the lobby
of the Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center during "The Nutcracker" performances.

REGION BAND SOLO-ENSEMBLE CONTEST MEDALISTS

26 band members from the 7-12 grade bands at Union Christian competed in the Region Solo-Ensemble Contest held in Dover, Arkansas in March 2011. The band members won 33 Superior medals and nine Excellent medals.
