Our oldest son, Casey, has been at Union Christian since K-4. My wife Jennifer and I have been very pleased with the experience at Union in not only academics but in the social activities and Christian atmosphere as well. In addition, the school's willingness to think outside the box is another strong point in its favor. I was very happy to see Union become involved in the BEST (Boosting Science, Engineering, and Technology) Robotics program this year. I have been involved with BEST throughout my entire time at UA Fort Smith and I've seen it benefit the students in a variety of ways. It gives the students a lot of real-world experience working on a project with limited resources and a compressed amount of time and it helps expand their thinking skills beyond what they typically get in a classroom. It strengthens my appreciation for the school that they are willing to explore additional opportunities to help their students learn and grow. I look forward to seeing Union become involved in even more such projects in the future so that students throughout the curriculum have multiple opportunities to get involved and develop themselves academically.
